What is a Chemical Peel
A chemical peel is a corrective procedure that uses a liquid solution to improve the texture and appearance of the skin by removing the otter layer of damaged cells through the process of sloughing/peeling. This treatment is helpful for those individuals with facial blemishes, acne, wrinkles, sun damage, uneven skin tone, rosacea and hyper-pigmentation. A chemical peel is most often used to enhance ones appearance and self confidence by treating the area of concern. However, a chemical peel may also remove pre-cancerous skin growths, soften acne facial scars and even control acne. With most chemical peel you will experience a shedding of the skin, however I do offer a few milder peels that also have wonderful benefits and results with no sloughing of the skin.
20% Salicylic Resurfacing peel: This peel is one of the more mild peels and is most often used to treat acne prone skin. It is a beneficial peel for those trying to rid the skin of acne or those treating scarring from acne, redness, or oily skin. Great for reducing inflammation!
20% Salicylic/glycolic Resurfacing peel: This peel is a tad stronger then the 20% salicylic peel and again is also often used to treat acne and acne prone skin. This peel is also great for those concerned about aging skin.
40% glycolic/retinol resurfacing peel: This peel is a little more on the aggressive side and is best used to treat uneven skin tone, fine line’s, wrinkle’s, aging skin and dull skin. This peel will bring great results for anyone wanting to slough off the old and bring in the new.
TCA Orange peel: The TCA peel is best used to treat fine lines, hyper-pigmentation, aging, large pores, and sun damaged skin. If your wanting something a little more aggressive and are ready to peel, this treatment would be perfect for you.
Jessner peel: This peel is often referred to as the mother ship and is best for those wanting an aggressive peel. While this peel is not a good first time peel it is a great peel for the those wanting fast results in treating hyper-pigmentation, sun damage, deep wrinkles, un-even skin tone, large pores and severe acne.
30% vitamin c and enzyme resurfacing solution: This peel is very gentle with no sloughing of the skin while still offering cellular turnover. Great for treating mild rosacea, tired, dull, dry and dehydrated skin. This peel is a great pick me up everyone’s skin!
Pumpkin peel: The pumpkin peel is another mild peel that uses hundreds of natural pumpkin enzymes bringing new cellular growth and turnover. The pumpkin peel is used to for deep exfoliation of the skin bringing back ones natural healthy glow. Highly recommended for those wanting minimal peeling but amazing results, it smells amazing too.
Passion fruit/peptide resurfacing peel: This peel is mild and gentle enough even for those wishing to spend time out in the sun or even the expecting mom. If your looking for a refreshing look and like the results of a peel without the peeling this is the peel for you.
